I know the salmon makes sense because of the location, and punny name, but I still think it should be a flying fish

Seems fishy.

Does that paint scheme reduce drag making the aircraft more e-fish-ient?
I don’t wish to carp on or give people a haddock about it.
I’m not cod-ding and don’t want to make an anemone of anyone should my post flounder.

The world’s largest flying salmon sure looks unhappy to be up there.
“*sigh* Look at all that beautiful water down there. Damn it, mom was right. She knew I’d hate this. Why didn’t I listen to her? I...I want to go back in the ocean. I don’t belong up here!”

I have seen them offloading salmon from an Alaska 737 at SEATAC. It was in the store the next day. Pretty cool what they do.

They got it rockin’ like a gefilte fish

I had a friend who flew a DC-10 cargo carrier, and he would regularly fly an entire planeload of fresh flowers from South America on a daily basis.

It’s not original. This is what Alaska Airlines called it. Damned clever, if you ask me.
